Things We Learned From G1 Sixers V. Hawks

Today (Sunday 06/06/21), the Sixers took on the Hawks at home and oh my did we see what Trae Young and the rest of the ATL shooters can do. On the other hand, we saw how essential Embiid is to the Sixers offense. So here is my easily digestible summary of the key takeaways from the game.

• Sixers HAVE to trap Trae Young at the half court line, the best duo would be Simmons and Thybulle. We saw the Hawks FOLD under pressure when the full court trap was on them late in the game. We also saw Young take rushed and not so good shots when he was trapped. Thybulle…
